The Pearl

The Pearl

By Pamela Frydman © 2011

Sea salts and minerals form a pearl within its shell. Waves rock the shell in its resting place, But it is the grinding that causes the gem to form.

May your hardest work become your greatest. May the grinding gnawing challenge Formed around the kernel of your doubts Polish the fondest longings of your heart Into a gem of fulfillment.

Living the truth of who we are Is neither right nor wrong, nor bad nor good; Yet it brings one to the gem of our inner essence.

Happy grinding.
