Our Home: A Wandering Dervish

by Ananta Kumar Giri © 2015

Our home

Is for friends

We have a big house

We are only two

When friends come

Our home becomes alive

We have a fire site ceremony

A jajnja

On the first Saturday of every month

We take leave on Friday

And start cooking for our friends

We eat, pray and study together

We grow as Bahais

We grow in faith

And build communities

Friendship and spirituality

Make us and our homes alive

Our home is for Dervish

The humble wandering singers of the Divine

Our home becomes a symphony

We become Erfan[1]

Life Divine

[1] Erfan means knowing gnosis in Arabic/Persian/Urdu
